Grey's Anatomy: Dead Ex-Boyfriends, Random Interns, and Pseudo-Lesbian Doctors
There’s been a lot going on at Seattle Grace lately – and without much explanation. Dr. Erica Hahn left her position at the hospital without so much as a word to anyone about it. A new intern Sadie, with a history with Meredith, showed up and walked around like she owned the place. And oh, did we mention that Izzie is having sex with her dead fiancé? Just when you thought you couldn’t become any more confused, Shonda Rhimes teams up with Entertainment Weekly’s Michael Ausiello to clear the air about a few things while leaving us looking forward to other things. Be confused no more! The answers to your biggest Grey’s questions lie just ahead.

Question: I heard another Seattle Grace employee left the show. Who are we talking about?

The answer is: Janina Gavankar. Who now? Yeah, that’s what I said. Gavankar played Lisa, an intern at Seattle Grace. This former L Word cast member supposedly left the show because her part was a lot smaller than she expected. There’s also rumors that she’s joining the cast of the USA Network show White Collar, which will also star Matthew Bomer, Tim DeKay and Tiffani Thiessen.  Gavankar only appeared in two episodes so if you missed her character completely, don't feel too bad!

Question: Why the heck is Izzie seeing Denny? Is there something wrong with her?

The rumor was that Izzie had a brain tumor, which would mean that Denny is a hallucination. Weeks ago, Entertainment Weekly hinted that this storyline could end with Katherine Heigl’s exit, should Grey’s decide that they don’t want to keep her anymore. Izzie fans can breathe easy. She’s not going anywhere and she doesn’t have a brain tumor. "I think the love triangle with Denny, Izzie, and Alex is among the most interesting we've ever done,” Shonda Rhimes said this week. “Watching the chemistry between Jeffrey and Katherine again has been really touching. I can't wait for our viewers to see where we're taking it. But what it won't involve is Izzie having a brain tumor."

Question: Is Sadie going to be a love interest for Callie or not?

Despite reports that ABC forced Grey’s to cut all gay storylines, it seems Sadie will remain a bisexual and the show will explore her love life. The description for the December 4th episode reads: "Callie can't figure out if Sadie is just friendly or flirtatious." Clearly, this means that there is some chemistry going on, something that Callie is interested in exploring.
