On Grey's Anatomy, Izzie Stevens has been taking charge of her relationship with her best friend, George O'Malley  In real life, the actress that portrays her is similarly in charge of her own partnership.  Katherine Heigl is set to marry singer/songwriter Josh Kelley at the end of this year.  With the wedding right around the corner, there's not much for Kelley to worry about.  Heigl seems to have the whole thing under control.  "I'm kind of a part of it," Kelley told People magazine this week. "But I think she's got a pretty good handle on it."

"I said, 'Baby, you know, anything you want me to do, I got it.' But you know, other than that, what am I really gonna do? 'The tulips need to go over here?!' I don't know," he confessed.

Heigl also can add Nautica spokeswoman to her resume.  The company is launching their first scent ever for females, called "My Voyage" and will be carried at various department stores around the country.  She was thrilled to be asked to be part of the newest line of fragrance.  "To me, it's really fresh and clean and there's something about it you can easily wear during the day," she said in a press statement.  Nautica is working in conjunction with Coty's, who have teamed up with many celebrities over the years including Sarah Jessica Parker and Celine DIon.

In April of 2008, Heigl will get to work on her next movie, "The Ugly Truth".  It is a romantic comedy about a news producer who hires an obnoxious relationship expert for her show.  Thanks to his teachings, she ends up finding the love of her life.  The movie will be directed by Robert Luketic, who has previously worked on "Monster-In-Law" and "Legally Blonde".  Heigl has already starred in the hit, "Knocked Up" and early next year, her movie "27 Dresses" will hit theaters.  "27 Dresses" also stars James Marsden, Edward Burns, and Melora Hardin, of The Office.
