Jason George has officially been added as a lead on the Grey's Anatomy
spin-off, according the Hollywood Reporter
. The actor, who recurred on the ABC medical series as Dr. Warren in season 6 before he was promoted to series regular in season 12, will transition to the spin-off as part of Grey's Anatomy
's 14th season but will still remain part of the cast of the flagship series until production of the firefighter series kicks off.
Jane Lynch and Andrew Rannells on Will and Grace

has confirmed that Jane Lynch and Andrew Rannells will be appearing together in an episode of the NBC revival, though their characters are being kept under wraps. Lynch is noted for her role on Glee
and is the host of NBC's Hollywood Game Night
while Rannels is credited for his work on The New Normal
Garret Dillahunt on The Gifted

star Garret Dillahunt has landed a key role on FOX's The Gifted
, which revolves around a couple who discovers that their children possess mutant powers and are forced to go on the run from the government and join other mutants to survive. Deadline
reports that Dillahunt will play a mutant researcher named Roderick Campbell, who is hired by Sentinel Services and has a "morally dubious mission yet to be revealed."
Sherilyn Fenn on S.W.A.T.

star Sherilyn Fenn will be making an appearance on CBS' upcoming S.W.A.T.
reboot, playing the mother of Alex Russell's character, Jim Street. Fenn's character Karen, who is doing time for the murder of her abusive husband, appears to be a doting mother but her true motives are later revealed after she asks a favor from Jim that puts his career at risk.
Bonnie Bedelia on Designated Survivor
actress Bonnie Bedelia will be joining the second season of Designated Survivor
confirms that Bedelia will play Eva, the President's (Kiefer Sutherland) mother-in-law. Eva previously worked as a secretary to a Department of Defense contracting officer and is devoted to her daughter (Natascha McElhone) and grandchildren.
Meegan Warner on Once Upon a Time
After casting a new version of Cinderella and Wonderland's Alice, Once Upon a Time
is giving Rapunzel a new face. According to TV Line, TURN: Washington's Spies
actress Meegan Warner will play the new version of the damsel in distress, who was previously played by Alexandra Metz in season 3. Warner's character will find herself magically trapped in a tower by an evil sorceress but she's determined to break the spell and seek her revenge.
