While there is no clarity with Katherine Heigl’s salary dispute, this Grey’s Anatomy star ventures in another lucrative opportunity. Now, she serves as a spokes model for a woman’s fragrance.

Heigl, a 28-year old model turned actress, is popularly known for her role as Isobel “Izzie” Stevens on the popular medical Grey’s Anatomy. Early March, Heigl expressed her sentiments to the public regarding her exposed salary dispute. She said, "I am embarrassed that this has become a public matter and disappointed that Touchstone felt it necessary to divulge private employment information…I had hoped I would be able to deal with this issue confidentially with my bosses. I dropped out of the renegotiation simply because I wanted to treat myself with the respect I was not getting from them."

And while Heigl faces disappointment, other cast members of Grey’s Anatomy, which include Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson, James Pickens, T.R. Knight and Justin Chambers, are showered with monetary attention based on their new contract.

On the other hand, another company takes delight in Heigl’s image. Coty Inc., a beauty products manufacturer specializing in color cosmetics, skin care and fragrances, has just entered a deal with Heigl to be the face of the first women’s fragrance from Nautica. The company is popularly known for its collaboration with designers and celebrities for the creation of fragrances. Some of the notable showbiz personalities include Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez and Kate Moss, who will also be launching her own fragrance in 2007.

Coty CEO Bernd Beetz said, "We are delighted to collaborate with Nautica and spokes model Katherine Heigl to introduce the new women's fragrance…Katherine is beautiful, graceful and an inspiring actress who best personifies the values of the Nautica brand.” In turn, Heigl enthusiastically expressed her joy in the new venture. "I am thrilled to work with Coty and Nautica on this new fragrance campaign," she said in a statement. "Partnering with these two highly successful companies makes this a very exciting and rewarding experience for me."
