What is up with ABC torturing us with all these little 30-second promos?
At the very least, we get little glimpses of what promises to be an insane Grey's Anatomy two-hour season premiere on September 24. Following the George- and Izzie-centric (and slightly Callie-centric) first promo, we get another one, and this time, we get to see how the other characters of the show will do come season 6. Oh, and just a little FYI, the song used in the video is Tyrone Wells' Sink or Swim.
1. Izzie opens up her eyes.
Perhaps ABC has come to terms that Katherine Heigl has essentially revealed the fate of her character, so there's no use faking suspense.
2. Funeral scene.
We also got a glimpse of the now out in the open funeral scene, along with a row of black-clad Seattle Grace doctors. Alright, we know George (TR Knight) dies, but we are still dying to know (hee, pun) how they are going to execute George's farewell, and whether or not they do justice to his character.
3. Sexy time between Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Owen (Kevin McKidd).
With the whole George and Izzie fiasco out of the way, Cristina and Owen may finally have time to move their relationship forward. The two are seen holding hands in the ambulance bay and Yang revealing a sort of sexy lingerie for Hunt.
4. The Chief (James Pickens, Jr.) telling Derek (Patrick Dempsey) to "take" his "job."
I have absolutely no idea what event in the chief's life would have him ask Derek to do this. Maybe something about Adelle?
