Dilshad Vadsaria is an actress of Indian and Portuguese descent born in Karachi, Pakistan on July 15, 1985. She moved to the United States at the age of six with her family, and spent her childhood growing up in different parts of the country such as Chicago and Philadelphia. She has also lived in Illinois, Richmond, Virginia and Pennsylvania. Fond of traveling, the actress is known for her proficiency in speaking conversational Gujarati and French. After majoring in Biological Sciences at the University of Delaware, she moved to New York to hone her performance talents.
In 2006, Dilshad Vadsaria began her acting career. She previously starred in a number of off-off-Broadway plays, and has appeared in productions such as Within the Ivory Tower and Rapture. She was first seen on television when she got a role in the TV program Vanished. There, she played Agent Naji on the episode titled “The Tunnel.”
In 2007, Vadsaria joined the cast of the ABC Family’s college life series Greek. Her character is that of Rebecca Logan, a campus celebrity and the daughter of a senator. Her co-stars on the series include Clark Duke, Scott M. Forster, Jacob Zachar, Aaron Hil, Jake McDorman, Spencer Grammer, Paul James, and Amber Stevens. In 2007, the cast appeared at the Summer Television Critics Association Press Tour for ABC Family at the Beverly Hilton Hotel to talk about their work.
Dilshad Vadsaria is also known for expressing her strong support for the value of education. She aspires to become more involved in assisting institutions with aims to provide children with the proper tools and environment for learning. Another passion of hers is fighting for women’s rights, working on the issues of the international community that are significant to her. Other hobbies of the actress include sports like horseback riding and skiing, as well as reading. She is also known for her fondness for motorcycles, intending to acquire her own motorcycle driving license.
