Greek has just ended its pilot run with the gang hitting the beach for spring break. Casey (
Spencer Grammer)has left all her emotional baggage back at school for some fun in the sun, while Rusty (
Jacob Zachar) realized that the beach bum lifestyle isn't for him and reunites with old friends on his way back to Cyprus-Rhodes University. It's going to take several months before
Greek fans find out what's going to happen next season. Luckily, we have the scoop to ease the long wait.

No, there were 2 parts of season 1. There is usually a small break between 1 season just like it was in Gre...
Thanks to Zap2it.com, we now know the direction of
Greek for its sophomore season. When the series resumes, the students of CRU will be heading into the “end of year stuff.” These include campaigning and presidential elections for Casey, the initiation of the pledges, hell week and Rusty finally becoming active in the house.
"The pledges will be [at the end of their rope], sick of all the grunt work, threatening to drop out. There will be a lot of conflict there. And now that we've seen Rusty have this journey through the fraternity system, we're also going to explore his Polymer science side," show creator Patrick Sean Smith said.
Having said that, Smith reveals that
Greek will be taking in a new character named Max, who will serve as the resident adviser for Calhoun Hall.
“This guy comes in and just kind of inspires Rusty to focus on his science side. It's kind of a crisis of confidence for Rusty, where he's like, well 'maybe Polymer science isn't my thing because it's really weird and abstract.' But through Max, we get to see why Rusty kind of fell in love with it in the first place," Smith added.
These are just some of the intriguing tidbits in store for the upcoming new episodes of season 2.
"The next ten will [comprise] second season and will pick up just a few days after Spring Break and finally complete the first academic school year, setting up where everybody's going for their Summer vacation," he said.
Stay tuned for more updates on
Greek season 2.
