'Greek' Recruits New Guest Star For Upcoming Season
As early as now, fans are already gearing up for the return of the ABC Family series, Greek, which will hit TV screens on August 26, with a new guest star in tow.  In fact, the network recently announced that a Beverly Hills 90210 alum will be playing a character who will be highly influential in Casey's (Spencer Grammer) life.

TV Guide reports that Carol Potter, who appeared on Beverly Hills 90210 as Cindy Walsh, will be part of the upcoming season of Greek, where she will play the recurring role of Paula, an alum of the Zeta Beta Zeta sorority.  Additionally, her character will play a pivotal role in the developments in the life of Casey.

Fans would be glad to know that Charisma Carpenter, who is best known for her role as Cordelia in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel series, will also return to reprise her role as national sorority representative Tegan Walker.

In other news, Charisma Carpenter recently got officially divorced from husband Damian Hardy, with whom she shared a five-year marriage.  The two married in October 2002, and had a son two years later.  Carpenter filed for divorce in August last year and as of July this year, the divorce was made official by the judge.  Moreover, the two are to share legal and physical custody of their son, while Carpenter is required to pay her former husband a total of $6000 in attorney's fees and costs, on top of the $300 monthly child support subsidy.

Carpenter admitted that she was encountering difficulty in finding a job after the writers' strike ensued earlier this year, and continues to worry about the possibility of the Screen Actors Guild strike pushing through.

Nonetheless, fans can count on the return of Greek on August 26 on ABC Family.
