Charisma Carpenter, best known for playing Cordelia Chase on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and its spin-off series Angel, has helped Greek seal its first season as a national sorority representative Tegan Walker, who showed up to investigate a big, juicy scandal.  Once again, the 37-year-old actress has signed on to appear on the teen drama.

"She's part Scully and part Cordelia," Greek creator Sean Smith said of Carpenter's first appearance on the series.  "I'd love to have her back."

Most recently, Carpenter landed a recurring role on the series Big Shots as Janelle Johns and made a guest appearance as Brooke Schimmel on Back to You.  Prior to that, she was cast on the cult favorite Veronica Mars as Kendall Casablancas, Beaver (Kyle Gallner) and Dick's (Ryan Hansen) gold-digging stepmother who was initially appeared as an airhead but was later revealed to be a shrewd con woman.

According to TV Guide, the Angel actress will help Casey deal with a pledge who is causing trouble for the sorority when Greek returns for a second season this fall.

For those who are not familiar with Greek, the show is set at the fictitious Cyprus-Rhodes University and centers on a group of college students in and out of the fraternity and sorority system.  Greek stars Jacob Zachar (Rusty), Spencer Grammer (Casey), Scott Michael Foster (Cappie), Jake McDorman (Evan), Clark Duke (Dale), Dilshad Vadsaria (Rebecca), Paul James (Calvin) and Amber Stevens (Ashleigh).

Greek returns on ABC Family for a second season in July with a dozen new installments.  In addition, the network has scheduled the return of Lincoln Heights, the drama about an African-American family moving into the inner city, this coming fall with 10 new episodes for fans to look forward to.  Last but not the least, the network has also acquired the rights to air reruns of That '70s Show and My Wife and Kids, which will premiere on ABC Family in June and September, respectively.
