The Glee Project is heating up in July with a slate of top-tier guest mentors and some exciting musical performances. Oxygen released details about the upcoming month of new episodes, so here's a preview of what you can expect.

Adaptability (July 3)

Kevin McHale (Artie) is the guest mentor, making him one of the few Glee stars to mentor on seasons 1 and 2 of The Glee Project. The music video will be for Jessie J's "Price Tag" and the official synopsis says contestants will "struggle to adapt and roll with the punches." I'm guessing that's a clever play on words and the "adapting" the contestants will have to do involve sitting in a wheelchair (which would obviously give Ali a huge advantage).

Fearlessness (July 10)

Jane Lynch guest mentors and this is the infamous "slushie" week where the contestants are pelted with the iconic colorful beverages. They will need to be extra fearless, because this week also requires them to wear swimsuits, so bring on the skin!

Theatricality (July 17)

The music video will be for the Pussycat Dolls' "When I Grow Up." All Oxygen says is that the guest mentor is a "fresh face from Glee." Who can that be? Well, the freshest faces from season 3 would include Damian McGinty (Rory), Lindsay Pearce (Harmony), Alex Newell (Wade), Grant Gustin (Sebastian), Vanessa Lengies (Sugar) and Nene Leakes (Roz Washington). My money would be on Gustin or Lengies, since they're fairly showy, theatrical people, although Ryan Murphy clearly adores Leakes. And while I doubt the show would do this, it would be incredibly cool if they managed to book either of the big-name season 4 guest stars (Kate Hudson or Sarah Jessica Parker).

Tenacity (July 24)

Amber Riley (Mercedes) will be the guest mentor as the contestants perform Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger." However, the real struggle is that the contestants will have to do their performance in one take.

After the Amber Riley episode there will be only three left in August before the winner is revealed, and those episodes will include guest mentors Darren Criss and Chris Colfer.

The Glee Project airs Tuesdays at 10pm on Oxygen.
