The network has two big live musical events planned for the 2017-2018 TV season: A Christmas Story in December and Rent in the Spring.

Also, after two seasons, FOX officially cancelled the horror-comedy series Scream Queens, starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Emma Roberts. But the network has yet to decide on whether to bring back 24: Legacy and Prison Break.

At mid-season, FOX will air the final season of New Girl, the new, 10-episode chapter of The X-Files plus a trio of new shows: The Resident, 9-1-1 and LA to Vegas.

Here's a look at FOX's new shows, what isn't coming back and the schedule for Fall.
