Blindspot, Once Upon a Time, The Flash and Gotham are just a few of the shows among the latest to make room for new characters to appear after the winter hiatus. TV Fans are also getting a Friday Night Lights and OC reunion, find out which of your favorite stars and shows are coming together in this latest casting news roundup.

Aaron Abrams on Blindspot

According to Entertainment Weekly, this Hannibal alum has signed on to the new NBC show Blindspot for a major recurring role. When the series returns on February 29, Abrams will play an assistant US attorney with a lot of ambition and drive who develops a relationship with Agent Zapata.

Diego Boneta on Jane the Virgin

The Scream Queens star is heading to warmer Florida climates as he enters into Jane’s world. Boneta will play the role of Dax, a genius hipster/techie/skateboarder who takes a look at Jane’s computer and ends up surprising her, says TVLine. Alicia Witt on Nashville

A Friday Night Lights reunion is in the works, but it’s not happening in Dillon, Texas. It’s actually taking place in Connie Britton’s new home, Nashville. Alicia Witt, who played Becky’s single mom on Friday Night Lights has just booked the role of Autumn on ABC’s Nashville, says Entertainment Weekly. Autumn is described as, “a respected singer who’s paid her dues and who’s managed to both cross over to pop and thrive in the era of bro country… Never married, but perpetually involved, Autumn struggles to find real love in her life.”

Melinda Clarke on Gotham

Gotham City, here we come, right back where we started from. Speaking of beloved teen angst drama reunions, The OC is about to have one as well on Gotham between Ben McKenzie (James Gordon) and Melinda Clarke, who will play the recurring role of Grace Van Dahl. According to E!, Grace is described as an attractive and cultured woman who is desperate for money and power. Not too much of a stretch from Clarke’s role of Julie Cooper on The OC. Grace knows how to play the part of perfect hostess and wife, but has no problem plotting, cheating, or even killing to get what she wants.

Tone Bell on The Flash

Variety announced that comedian Tone Bell has signed on for a multi-episode arc on The CW’s The Flash for the second half of season 2. Bell will play the role of Scott Evans, a brash new editor at Central City Picture News. He’s a determined journalist who pushes his reporters (including Iris) to dig much deeper for the truth.

Kate Burton on Madam Secretary

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Madam Secretary is about to get a little scandalous. Kate Burton of Scandal has joined the CBS drama for the role of Maureen Ryan, the harsh and uptight sister of Henry. Maureen is a mother of 3 with a big personality, full of criticisms and judgments.

Dorothy Gale on Once Upon a Time

TVLine broke the news that Dorothy Gale will return to Once as a brave Oz warrior. The character was first introduced in the season 3 episode “Kansas,” played by Matreya Scarrwener. When Dorothy is seen next, she will be in her late 20s to early 30s and have evolved from a pig-tailed, wide-eyed little girl from Kansas into a courageous warrior looking to reclaim the magical land stolen from the Wicked Witch.

Italia Ricci on Supergirl

This Chasing Life star will take on the role of the famous DC Comics villain, the Silver Banshee, says The Hollywood Reporter. The Silver Banshee, also known as Siobhan Smythe, comes to National City as Cat Grant’s newest hire and Kara’s work nemesis. She later becomes Kara’s super-nemesis as well when she realizes what she’s capable of.
