Serena tries to explain the Pete Fairman incident to the dean, but that's tough to do when B is mentioning sex tapes and drug dealing. S drags B outside to scream at her, but things take a turn for the physical when Blair throws her purse at Serena's head. A completely phenomenal and hilarious catfight breaks out, with Serena screaming about how much she hates B's headband while the two claw at each other. It may be the best thing I've ever seen in my life, aside from the infamous catfights on
Dynasty and
Melrose Place.
Rufus and Jenny pay a visit to Lily (
Kelly Rutherford), who's dressed to the nines in an outfit that Jenny made. It's possible Rufus may be able to appreciate his daughter's talent more after seeing how gorgeous Lily looks in her dress. Meanwhile, the Skull and Bones crew heads into a bar bragging about how they bagged Nate Archibald, which causes the real Nate to start a fight and vow to kick their asses when he gets to college. After the short brawl, he leaves to help Dan, who is tied to a pole outside in nothing but his boxers.
After the catfight, B says that she's tired of looking like Darth Vader next to Serena's Sunshine Barbie. The two decide to go their separate ways and lead their own separate lives. As the episode wraps up, Rufus allows Jenny to try home schooling, Serena and Blair apologize to each other, and Nate's college hook-up agrees to help Dan get a recommendation letter. It's a happy ending for everyone, including Chuck, who took scandalous photos of the entire Skull and Bones crew during his private party. He lets them know they're now under his control. Just before Gossip Girl delivers her final XOXO, S discovers she'll qualify for early acceptance at Yale, while Blair will have to continue fighting to get in.
