Little J is stuck with Eleanor Waldorf, and when asked for her opinion on the dress she finds the guts to admit that it looks like something a pilgrim would wear to a funeral. Eleanor is afraid she'll become irrelevant, so she actually appreciates Jenny's honesty.
After he explains himself to Vanessa, Nate finds the courage to end things with his Mrs. Robinson. He runs off to talk to her, but Catherine sneaks in the room to have a verbal catfight with Vanessa. She tells V that she knows exactly where Nate's dad is, and she won't hesitate to run to the FBI if Nate leaves her. V leaves the party without passing this bit of info along to Nate, only telling him that he should stay with his cougar.
Blair attempts to seduce Lord Marcus, telling him to meet her in the bedroom so they can consumate their relationship. Chuck overhears this and decides to show up in Marcus's place, and even goes to the trouble of faking a British accent when he enters the darkened room. Of course, Ed Westwick is actually British, so he's a Brit playing an American who is faking a British accent. It's all very complicated. Anyway, he soon starts making out with B, and it's only a matter of minutes before the power turns on and Marcus walks in on them. Chuck gets a punch in the face, and B is forced to tell her Lord that she needs more passion in her life. He kisses her, but can he seal the deal?
Rufus (
Matthew Settle) has been dating a woman named Claire, which comes as a shock to Jenny when they show up at the Waldorf office. Little J is also shocked to learn that she's no longer fired. Eleanor has warmed up to her a bit, and will now allow her to be Tim Gunn full time.
As the episode comes to an end, Chuck still can't find the desire to sleep with random women, and Dan is left hanging out with Vanessa once again. He's shocked to hear that Nate is a gigolo, but even more surprised to find out that Cougar Catherine plans to run to the FBI if her boy toy betrays her. I think the Botox has seeped into her brain and made her evil.
