The funeral is over and everyone is gathering for upscale comfort food at the Bass-van der Woodsen manse. Cyrus, evidently touched by the uncertainty of life, wants to push up the wedding to tomorrow. Blair, naturally hates the idea, but after a little bit of prodding and an offer from Jenny, who is trying to make amends, to make Eleanor her dream wedding dress – something with a jacket – Eleanor comes around. "Yippee!" says Cyrus.

Boron, by the way, is off in some corner monotoning an invitation to Serena to come to Buenos Aires with him for Christmas. He's already bought a plane ticket for her. Serena doesn't say yes right away, but promises to think about it.

CeCe corners Lily and demands to know what Chuck knows about her and Rufus. She instructs Lily to go upstairs and talk to Chuck. Suddenly, CeCe gets a mysterious phone call, summoning her somewhere.

Lily goes upstairs to find Chuck ransacking the place looking for Bart's will. They trade accusations on who was really to blame for Bart's death. Lily slaps him, but apologizes. Chuck says that as soon as he finds the will and gets his inheritance, she'll never have to see him again. He goes downstairs to leave, but his friends try to talk him out of it. Even Eric makes a big, misty-eyed entreaty to stay because he doesn't want to lose his step-brother. Chuck coldly reminds him that they are not related.

The mysterious person who called CeCe was Bart's PI. He's going to tell Lily's secret to the highest bidder. Lily wants her mother to pay him off to keep him quiet, but CeCe thinks that this might be a good time to come clean and start fresh.

Blair goes after Chuck and begs him to let her be there for him. He tries to blow her off, but she reminds him that they are Blair and Chuck, Chuck and Blair, and even tells him that she loves him. "That's too bad," Chuck says as he gets into his limo and speeds away.

Serena goes to Brooklyn to ask for Dan's advice on what to do about Boron's invitation to Buenos Aires. She seems really wishy-washy and unsure of how she feels, and for once, Dan is level-headed and tells her to make up her own damn mind. Who knew I would ever be on Dan's side for anything?

Blair comes home to find the wedding preparations well under way. Blair breaks down to Cyrus about how she told Chuck that she loved him. She thought that saying it would change everything, but it hasn't. Cyrus gives her a big hug, as Eleanor looks on fondly.

CeCe comes back from dealing with the private investigator, and now she wants to talk about Rufus. Lily admits that she loves Rufus, but she won't act on anything right away, for propriety's sake. Serena comes in, overhearing everything, and figures out why Chuck called her a whore at the funeral. Lily reminds her about how Serena begged her not to be with Rufus in the first season of Gossip Girl because of her own relationship with Dan. This time around, Serena gives her blessing for her mother to be with Rufus because she has just decided that she's going to try to make things work with Boron. She's going to Buenos Aires.
