Gossip Girl: Episode 2.13 "O Brother, Where Bart Thou?" Recap (Page 3/3)
Across the bridge, Jenny, who is hard at work on Eleanor's wedding jacket, sagely advises Dan to use his words to tell Serena that he likes her and doesn't want her to go to Buenos Aires with Boron. He can tell her so at the wedding.

Uh oh. Turns out that CeCe didn't do a thing to hide Lily's secret. Chuck was the only bidder for the secret, so now he's got the goods.

Serena shows up at the Waldorf manse to tell Boron the good news. Jenny and Dan arrive immediately thereafter, with the garment bag of Eleanor's wedding trousseau as their excuse. Dan begs Serena not to go to Buenos Aires, but she says that she's dating someone else now, and plus, their parents are in love, and she doesn't want to interfere with Lily's love life anymore.

Eleanor and Cyrus have a touching little wedding ceremony. Oh, there's Dorota, wearing a crystal headband. Borrowed from Miss Blair, perhaps?

Chuck crows to Lily that he knows her secret. She begs him not to turn his back on the people who love him and not to let it get public. Apparently, there are still a few embers glowing in his heart because he burns the incriminating paper. Then he goes to the one person who truly loves him, Blair, who envelops him in that warm, comforting, asexual kind of embrace that proves how much they really care for each other.

Lily calls Rufus and asks him to go away with her for the holidays, and as Rufus packs up in preparation, CeCe shows up in Brooklyn, out of the blue, to interfere again. She tells him Lily's secret and explains that if Lily keeps holding onto it, they don't have a chance in hell of making it. Rufus goes to Grand Central, where Lily is waiting for him, and tells her, "Just tell me one thing. Is it a boy or a girl?" So that's Lily's big secret! She and Rufus have a secret love child together somewhere.

Serena and Boron ride to the airport, bantering about neck pillows and drool. Dan calls, interrupting their canoodling, but Serena consciously decides to go with the Boring 'Stache and doesn't answer the phone.

The episode ends with B and C spooning – guess who is the big spoon? Later on in the night, Blair wakes up to find Chuck gone and a note in his place. He wrote" "I'm sorry for everything. You deserve much better. Don't come looking for me. –Chuck."
