The final season of Gossip Girl promises to mark the return of many past characters, and now we can add one more to that list: Juliet Sharp. Katie Cassidy will return to the Upper East Side for the series finale this December.

Juliet was introduced in season 4 as the sister of Serena's former English teacher who was sent to jail for statutory rape. Juliet conspired to take down Serena, but developed feelings for Nate along the way. It was ultimately revealed that Serena wasn't actually the one responsible for sending Juliet's brother to jail, but rather Lily.

Juliet is the latest returning character for Gossip Girl's sixth and final season. Other memorable characters returning include scheming Poppy Lifton, Blair's nemesis Nelly Yuki and Chuck's brother Jack Bass.

Cassidy can currently be seen on the CW's newest hit series Arrow.

Gossip Girl airs Mondays at 9pm on the CW.
