Get ready to go back to the very beginning of the Upper East Side drama.
Style Network was acquired the off-network rights to the CW's
Gossip Girl and will begin airing reruns Wednesday, August 15 at 8pm.
Style will air three episodes every week in three-hour blocks on Wednesday nights from 8-11pm. The network will also feature an all-day
Gossip Girl marathon on Labor Day, September 3.
The reruns come right before the CW is going to begin the show's sixth and final season on Monday, October 8 at 9pm.
The show and its stars have come a long way since
Gossip Girl began in September 2007. It will certainly be interesting to see the early days of Chuck and Blair or Dan and Serena. And it will also offer a chance to see the old days of Jenny and Eric before Taylor Momsen went off the rails and Connor Paolo moved on to
Revenge.
Gossip Girl was the show that truly kickstarted the CW. It premiered in the second year of the network's existence and was the first new show the network developed that really caught on. For years it was the show that defined the CW, before
The Vampire Diaries came along.
Are you excited to see the early days of
Gossip Girl once again on TV?
