"It's done, dude."
That's all Taylor Momsen had to say when asked about her future on
Gossip Girl. Talking to
X17online, Momsen was reacting to reports that she's leaving the CW series next season. This comes in the heels of her
admission that the
Gossip Girl cast aren't "really friends" outside the set, which comes in the heels of twin breakup surprises - Leighton Meester and Sebastian Stan and Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr.
If
Gossip Girl were, like, for real, she'd have something to say about this series of unfortunate events.
"We're all cordial and nice to each other, but we're not really friends outside of the set," the actress who plays Little J says.
Taylor's band The Pretty Reckless recently
scored a spot on the soundtrack of action movie
Kick-Ass. Their song "Make Me Wanna Die" will be the band's first single after being featured on the soundtrack.
The 16-year-old had never been shy in admitting that music is what she wants to do with her life.
"Music is where I can be me," she has told
Parade.com "I really do it because I love it, honestly. It's what I want to do with my life. I mean, it's my only goal... Music is more personal because you're writing it and you're involved in every step of it.
The un-pleasantries continue: Chace Crawford, as it turns out, will not be dancing to the remake of
Footloose. His rep has confirmed that the actor has backed out of the commitment, which originally belonged to Zac Efron, who also dropped out.
Sources tell
EW that the grueling
Gossip Girl schedule is to blame for Chace's decision.
And finally, a Chuck and Blair-centric finale preview to make up for all the horrible-ness:
