Apart from the upcoming series Gossip Girl, Chace Crawford will be featured in the drama thriller She Lived, which is the directorial debut of Mickey Liddell.

Crawford, a 21-year old native of Lubbock, Texas, is an actor who stars as Nate Archibald on CW’s Gossip Girl. He portrays a wealthy and good-looking lacrosse player at St. Jude's school that massively smokes marijuana. His other acting credits include Long Lost Son as Mark, and The Covenant as Tyler Simms.

In the movie She Lived, Crawford will be playing the role of Joseph Young, along with actors Haley Bennett, Jake Weber, Shannon Marie Woodward, Nina Siemaszko, Marin Hinkle, Josh Stewart, Shanna Collins, AnnaLynne McCord, and Kevin Cooney. Originally written by John Travis, the film will be re-written by Rebecca Sonnenshine.

Produced under Lidell’s own Liddell Entertainment banner with Jennifer Hilton, Stephen Kay, and Jerry P. Jacobs, She Lived centers on a girl whose sanity is put to the test when her mother tries to kill her.

Filming begins this July in Los Angeles.

In addition to the thriller movie She Lived, the Gossip Girl actor has another film project, which will hit the theaters in November this year. The said film is entitled Loaded, in which he stars the character Hayden Price. Directed by Alan Pao, the action-drama plot revolves around a young and wealthy kid who gets caught into the world of drugs, sex and violence. Other cast members include Jesse Metcalfe as Tristan Price, Corey Large as Sebastian, Monica Keena as Brooke, Nathalie Kelley as April, and Jimu Jean-Louis as Antonio. It has also been reported that Crawford will be part of the Loaded’s sequel entitled Reload, in which he will be playing the same character.
