Ring the closing bell, of course.
Although it's just funny. It's not really common for us to see television stars hang out in one of the nerve centers of the financial world. Whenever the news comes on, and they start talking about how Wall Street fared, we always see business executives in suits, clapping their hands profusely, regardless of how things went out.
Glee is available on Amazon Prime.
Well, Amber Riley and Cory Monteith aren't business executives; they are television stars. And yet they showed up at the Nasdaq floor in New York last Tuesday, ringing the closing bell that marks the end of the trading day for all those stocks on technology companies. The reason? They're celebrating news that Glee got a full-season pick-up
, which for us gleeks mean an extra nine episodes, an extra dose of Sue's liners, and an extra dose of Rachel and Finn's sexual tension. I had to mention that.
Anyway, here are the photos:
Amber and Cory posing in New York. Finn mustn't be so sure.
"Is this where regionals will be held?"
"Ooooh, what does this button do?"
I don't know who these other guys are.
Mercedes wants to sing. Mercedes wants to sing!
Too bad it did not end in a musical number on the stock exchange floor. That would be as surreal as the football team dancing to "Single Ladies".
Oh, and you do know Glee
airs Wednesdays at 9pm on Fox, right?- Henrik Batallones, BuddyTV Staff Columnist(Images courtesy of Fox)
