Sons of Anarchy has added yet another unlikely guest star for its seventh and final season. Lea Michele, who is best known for her role as Rachel Berry on the FOX musical drama Glee, has confirmed on Twitter that she will be appearing on the FX biker drama.

Glee is available on Amazon Prime.

"I'll be appearing on an episode of my favorite show @SonsofAnarchy! Thank you so much @Harparbar & @sutterink #SOAFX ," she tweeted.

Michele is expected to appear in the sixth episode of season 7. According to the show's rep, she will be playing a character named Gertie, "an empathetic truck stop waitress and single mother who connects with Gemma during a difficult time."

Though Michele's casting is somewhat unexpected, it does adhere to series creator Kurt Sutter's penchant for odd guest stars.  "I like to do some casting that's a little bit outside the box," Sutter said recently at the Television Critics Association summer press tour. "You know, from Stephen King to David Hasselhoff--we try to do stuff that's fun."

Earlier this month, it was reported that musician Courtney Love will have a multi-episode arc in the final season of Sons of Anarchy as Ms. Harrison, the pre-school teacher of Jax's eldest son, Abel. Marilyn Manson has also been added to the cast as Ron Tully, a power player who Jax works with to extend the reach of his club.

Sons of Anarchy kicks off its seventh and final season on Tuesday, September 9 at 10/9c on FX.
