Glee is heading towards a big finale on May 9, and while we already know it will feature guest stars Patty Duke and Meredith Baxter and a marriage proposal, there's plenty more coming in the weeks ahead.

Below you can find spoilers for the final four episodes of Glee season 4, including return appearances by Kate Hudson, Sarah Jessica Parker, Finn and Kurt's parents as well as the arrival of Katey Sagal and American Idol's Jessica Sanchez.

"Sweet Dreams" (April 18)

From FOX: "When the members of New Directions learn that the theme of this year's Regionals is Dreams, everyone has his/her own opinion as to what they should sing. Meanwhile, the day has finally come for Rachel to audition for the Broadway revival of Funny Girl."

This episode will also include the return of NeNe Leakes as Roz Washington, synchronized swimming coach at McKinley, and Idina Menzel as Rachel's biological mother, Shelby Corcoran.

"Lights Out" (April 25)

From FOX: "After the school's power goes out, Will and Finn lead the students in an unplugged session. Meanwhile, Kurt asks Santana and Rachel to volunteer at a Vogue.com benefit with Isabelle Wright."

Obviously this means Finn is back at New Directions, so it's likely that Will may finally forgive him. And Kurt's old boss, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, returns after disappearing following the Thanksgiving party.

"Wonder-ful" (May 2)

From FOX: "The members of New Directions take on the greatest hits of music icon Stevie Wonder. Then, Artie receives news that could affect his and his mom's future. Meanwhile in New York, Rachel prepares for her Funny Girl callback."

As previously reported, Artie's mom is played by Sons of Anarchy star Katey Sagal. Could the big news mean a potential move to New York so Kevin McHale can interact with the other original stars in season 5? And I guess this answers the question about how Rachel's audition goes. The penultimate episode of season 4 will also feature the return of Kate Hudson as Rachel's former dance teacher Cassandra July, who has been MIA since Rachel realized she doesn't need to be a good dancer to succeed  in "Swan Song."

If the guest star-palooza isn't enough, the episode also includes appearances by Mike O'Malley and Rosy Rosemont as Burt and Carole Hummel. Kurt's dad hasn't been on the show since announcing he has treatable prostate cancer in the Christmas episode, and this will be the first appearance of Finn's mom all season.

"All or Nothing" (May 9)

From FOX: "The members of New Directions travel to Regionals. But the competition gets tough when they go head-to-head with the Hoosierdaddies and lead singer Frida Romero. Meanwhile, Rachel finds out if she gets the callback for Funny Girl."

Frida, the star of the Hoosierdaddies, is played by American Idol season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez. It's interesting that season 4 is ending at Regionals, just like back in season 1, which suggests that, short of a time jump in the hour, we may not get to see the current seniors graduate.

I'm also somewhat confused by Rachel's storyline. In "Wonder-ful" she prepares for her callback, but in the next episode she waits to find out if she gets a callback? Maybe she's waiting for a second callback.

With a ton of big guest stars, Regionals and Rachel's Broadway dreams, Glee fans can expect plenty of action in the final four episodes of season 4.

Glee airs Thursdays at 9pm on FOX.
