This week's Glee
episode was supposed to air last week. Remember, they swapped this episode with last week's Lady Gaga-inspired episode, probably to capitalize on the Shelby-is-Rachel's-mom reveal. But, thinking about it now, maybe that isn't the reason.
Think about this, gleeks: would it be awkward if Rachel met Shelby before she finds out that Jesse has returned to Vocal Adrenaline?
Glee is available on Amazon Prime.
Well, at least that's what I think will happen. You must've seen the promos: the New Directions kids see whatever VA has done, and they're left feeling really, really terrible. More so for Rachel, who spots Jesse performing with his old group again. That'd surely drag everyone down -- you do know what happens when Rachel, their lead vocal, feels really terrible, right?
Oh, it is happening. Anyway, to get everyone out of their rut, Will decides to give the glee kids a lesson in being funky -- or, as he calls it, a combination of soul and anger.
That means we get to see the glee kids get really funky. And by that, we mean the down and dirty type of funky. I don't know if that's what Quinn will be doing -- but playing up her budding friendship with Mercedes again does well in my book.
Maybe Will gets revenge on Sue by, err, seducing her? The image of Mr. Shue shaking his booty never left my head, I'll admit.
Maybe Terri connecting with Finn? Wait, that really is down and dirty!
Maybe Santana breaking down in tears? I'm sure that's the other definition of funk that Rachel referred to in the video above. Still, Santana crying? Add another heartbreaker.
We've got two episodes of Glee
left in this season, and while we all don't want it to end (at least until September) we've got to enjoy what else we have left. Right, gleeks? Anyway, we're back tonight at 9pm on FOX.(Image courtesy of FOX)
