After spending an entire episode at McKinley High last week during which the controversial school shooting took place, it’s time to check back in with Rachel because her Funny Girl audition is finally here. Nostalgia is in the air as she reprises the song that put Glee on the map: “Don’t Stop Believin’.” Rachel’s mother Shelby, played by the fabulous Idina Menzel, returns to help her prepare. And New Directions is doing some preparations of their own. Regionals is right around the corner, so they whip out some original songs written by none other than, Marley.

FOX has released the five songs that will be featured in this Thursday’s episode, “Sweet Dreams”: Emile Sande’s “Next to Me,” Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’,” the Beastie Boys’ “Fight for Your Right (to Party),” Mervyn Warren’s “You Have More Friends Than You Know” (while not an original song, it’ll be featured on the show as if Marley wrote it) and an actual original song, “Outcast.”
