Glee
is getting a new glee club to play with. According to Deadline, the
show has cast British actor Oliver Kieran-Jones in a recurring role for
the second half of season 4.
Kieran-Jones will play the leader of the NYADA glee club which Kurt decides to join. He may also serve as a potential love interest for Kurt, so everyone hoping for a Klaine Christmas reunion may be disappointed.
Is it really fair for NYADA to have a glee club, especially if it's entering college competitions? That would be like the Culinary Institute of America entering a cooking competition against Arizona State University. It will be interesting to see if the show shifts more of its focus to the New York storylines and if the NYADA club's competitive goals become the primary storyline. It also begs the question: If NYADA has a glee club, why didn't Rachel join?
Kieran-Jones is a relative newcomer to television. He previously appeared on Showtime's Matt LaBlanc comedy
Episodes as a production assistant who becomes a famous screenwriter.
Are you excited to hear the NYADA glee club and to meet a possible new boyfriend for Kurt?
