The lack of ladies in New Directions is about to be fixed.
According to TVLIne, two actresses have landed recurring roles on
Glee's upcoming fourth season.
Melissa Benoist (pictured left) and Broadway actress Becca Tobin will join Glee season 4 as Marley and Kitty, two new students at McKinley High who set their sights on joining New Directions. Since Marley is a name commonly associated with the movie Marley and Me, will these girls be fighting like cats and dogs?
Tobin is new to TV but appeared in the Broadway musical
Rock of Ages. Benoist has several TV credits, including a two-episode role on Showtime's
Homeland.
These actress join the
previously announced Dean Geyer and Jacob Artist as fresh faces for
Glee season 4, and will be joined by the winner of season 2 of
The Glee Project.
Glee season 4 premieres Thursday, September 13 at 9pm on FOX.
