The first thing that went to mind when I first read about this? Oprah Winfrey singing. I don't know why I laughed, but I did.

The cast of Glee will be appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show on April 7, according to Entertainment Weekly. And that episode will be dedicated to all things Glee: interviews with everyone in the cast plus series creator Ryan Murphy, some backstage footage, and maybe, just maybe, a song or two.

Perfect timing, I must say. Looks like the week before Glee returns will be gleek paradise: the April 6 White House visit, and the show's April 13 return. Imagine a wide smile in my face.

Random question, though: does this also mean we could expect to see Oprah on Glee? Maybe when Rachel daydreams of being a star again? She'll see herself doing Oprah and profess her love for Finn like Tom Cruise did. Fits, right?
