Vivica A. Fox has been an icon of beauty, sex appeal, timelessness and style for years.  She now brings all that fashion sense to her new reality competition, Glam God with Vivica A. Fox, scheduled to take off August 21 on VH1.

Glam God with Vivica A. Fox is a quest for the next great celebrity stylist with just the right blend of eye, talent and execution to become worthy of styling today's celebrities and stars.

Each week, 20 would-be celebrity stylists will have to outdo one another in a variety of tasks and challenges intended to test their savvy and know-how in style and fashion trends.  They must come up with that perfectly flawless complete look from head to toe, effectively showcasing their mastery of hair, make-up and wardrobe, which are the three key elements of fashion.

Those who fail to deliver just the right look get their style license revoked and sent home, while whoever manages to impress the most, brings home $100,000 and more importantly, gets to stand on the verge of fame and fortune as stylist to an A-list personality.

The field is wide open as the competition welcomes stylists of all types, skills and backgrounds, whether they be personal shoppers, wardrobe stylists, beauty school dropouts, Beverly Hills beauticians, basement barbers or high end retail salespeople.  Auditions for Glam God with Vivica A. Fox ran from March 10 to April 13 in the key cities of Chicago, New York, Dallas, Los Angeles and Atlanta.

Aside from being one of its showrunners, Vivica A. Fox will also host Glam God, with its initially scheduled run of eight installments for its approaching maiden edition.  Glam God with Vivica A. Fox is slated to air Thursdays from 9-10pm beginning August 21, as part of VH1's new Celebreality summer series lineup.
