Persia White was born on October 25, 1976 in Miami, Florida. She was raised in Nassau, Bahamas and is a member of the musical group XE03. Previously, she appeared on Angel, NYPD Blue, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Brooklyn South and Breaker High. In addition, she is also a human rights advocate, an environmentalist and an animal rights activist. Ultimately, she became part of the sitcom Girlfriends as Lynn Searcy.
Lynn Searcy previously lived with Joan and Toni at UCLA. In the past, she worked as a tour guide for Japanese tourists and a host for a public access talk show. She also produced a documentary on the AIDS pandemic involving African-American women.
