Camryn Manheim is not a novice when it comes to entertainment. She is famous for the TV series The Practice in which she plays the role of Ellenor Frutt, which also got her an Emmy award. In line with this, her appearances on shows like Will & Grace, Ally McBeal and Chicago Hope has saturated the TV scene. Her exposure in the show Ghost Whisperer can only boost her career as this is just one form of enhancement of an already made actress.

In the Ghost Whisperer, Delia Banks is a widowed mother who does her real estate business in close proximity to Melinda's shop. Delia's son steals from Melinda's store, although was caught by Melinda. Nevertheless, she becomes close to Melinda, learns about her gift and eventually works with Melinda at the antique shop.
