Fans can now participate in creating horror on
Ghost Whisperer. Just in time for Halloween, the CBS supernatural drama series is hosting an interactive video version of the old writer's game “exquisite corpse” and is inviting everyone to join in.
This interactive project is tagged as the “Scariest Story Ever Told” and is an opportunity for fans to make the most of their gory imagination by contributing the next account of a scary story, initiated by
Jennifer Love Hewitt and the rest of the cast of
Ghost Whisperer.

what if you have a story but you dont have a camerah to but the vidio on utube? is there a way to just tell...
“This is a chance for YouTubers to get a taste of Hollywood with the cast of
Ghost Whisperer, Jennifer Love Hewitt [Melinda Gordon],
David Conrad [Jim Clancy],
Camryn Manheim [Delia Banks] and me,”
Jay Mohr, who plays Professor Rick Payne, explained about the project. “The goal is to have a story complete. A scary story with each line being told by a different person and all you have to do is post a video response with one line that can go anywhere in our story.”
For those who are interested, the first thing you have to do is visit the
Ghost Whisperer website and then view the clip to see how the story begins. Simply come up with the next line and record a video of yourself reading it, then post it as a video response on YouTube. Participants are urged to be horrifyingly creative but are discouraged to use any music or profanity.
Fans will have until Thursday, October 25, to play a part in the interactive project. Subsequently, the editors of
Ghost Whisperer will take the clips and cobble them together to create the “Scariest Story Ever Told,” which will be released the next day, October 26.
Meanwhile, fans can catch a new episode of
Ghost Whisperer every Friday at 8pm ET/PT on CBS.
