There are at least two things causing apprehension in tonight's episode of Ghost Whisperer and they both involve daddy issues. "Cause for Alarm," the fifth episode of the fifth season, kicks off with the introduction of 24 actor Chad Lowe as Nathan Weiss, one of Eli's new patients. Nathan is a wealthy software genius in his early 40s who runs his own company. Unfortunately, all the money and security in the world are not enough to prevent an angry ghost from haunting him.
It's bad enough that Nathan thinks he's being haunted by his sister's spirit. But at the same time, he also has to deal with his paranoia and obsessive compulsive tendencies, which get worse as the release date of new software gets closer. In attempt to get through his anxiety, he enlists the help of Melinda.
Midway through tonight's episode of
Ghost Whisperer, Melinda discovers that the ghost haunting Nathan isn't his sister but his ex-lover, who recently died of breast cancer. She now wants resolve her unfinished business and part of that is revealing a secret she kept from him since they broke up. What could it be?
