Ghost Whisperer Actor Stars in Henry V Play

David Conrad, cast member on the fantasy thriller Ghost Whisperer, will be playing the role of Henry V at the Kirby Shakespeare Theater in Madison, New Jersey. The said production is the 45th season opener of the theatre’s Main Stage, which will open on May 1.

Conrad, a 40-year old native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, presently stars as Jennifer Love Hewitt’s husband, Jim Clancy, on the series Ghost Whisperer. On the show, he depicts a paramedic who supports his wife on her explorations on paranormal occurrences and earthbound spirits. Prior to his inclusion on Ghost Whisperer, he attended several schools like The Kiski School, Brown University and The Julliard School. As an actor, he appeared on the show Roswell and was included in films like Men of Honor and Return to Paradise.

This is actually not the first time Conrad would be performing in theater productions. Previously, he appeared at The Shakespeare Theatre productions of Richard II and in 2004 and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead in 2006.

Henry V, is a play by William Shakespeare based on the life of King Henry V of England. It consists of the events before and after the Battle of Agincourt during the Hundred Year’s War.
Aside from Conrad, the cast also includes Jack Wetherall, who will be playing the role of Chorus, Kate Baldwin, who will be playing Princess Katherine, Ames Adamsom, who will be playing Captain Fluellen/Bishop of Ely, Richard Bourg as the Duke of Burgundy, Chantal Jean-Pierre as Alice, Darren Matthias as Nym, Ian Stuart as the King of France, Raphael Nash Thompson, and Scott Whitehurst as the Constable of France.

The latest adaptation, under the artistic direction of Bonnie J. Monte, also includes a creative team, which consists of set designer Michael Schweikardt, lighting designer Steve Rosen, costume designer Dane Laffrey and dialect coach Stephen Gabis.
