According to
TV Guide, LoCicero will be making her first appearance on
General Hospital on Friday, September 19 as Kate's (
Megan Ward) cousin Olivia, who had a fling with Sonny (
Maurice Benard) back in high school. And as expected, she'll be turning up at the nuptials with some shocking scoop about Kate's mysterious past.
Recently, Kate had second thoughts on her upcoming wedding to mobster Sonny, thinking that it is cursed after finding blood on her reception dress. Now , that curse can be confirmed.
"Sonny has invited Olivia to the wedding, unbeknownst to Kate," LoCicero told
TV Guide. "He doesn't know there was quite a rivalry between the two women or that Olivia has something under her belt that's going to create big excitement—and a lot of friction."
LoCicero got her break when she landed the role of Jocelyn Roberts Brown on the final season of
Loving, which eventually led to her appearance in the spin-off
The City where she lingered on the show until it was cancelled in 1997. Subsequently, she landed roles in movies like
The Family Man and
Roush Hour 2.
In 2004, LoCicero nearly made her debut on
General Hospital when she was up for the recast role of Lois. However, the role went to
Lesli Kay, who is now appearing on
The Bold and the Beautiful. On the other hand, she was cast as Sonia on
One Life to Live.
