Kirsten Elisha Storms, who was born on April 8, 1984 in Orlando, Florida, was discovered at the age of five by a talent scout while performing in a showcase at an acting school for children. Her parents were later convinced to enroll her in an intensive children's program in New York. She late got commercial projects and landed a recurring role on ABC's Second Noah. After concluding the show, her family moved to Hollywood and there she landed the role of Laura Cummings on WB's long running show,
7th Heaven . She then played the title character of Disney Channel's original movie Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century and reprised her role in two more sequels. 1999 saw Storms getting signed for the NBC daytime soap opera
Days of Our Lives . Six years later, she returned to daytime soap operas, becoming the third actress to play Maxie Jones on ABC's General Hospital.
Maxie Jones is played by Kirsten Storms in the soap opera General Hospital. Maxie came back to Port Charles to graduate high school however her heart failed while she was on the ship, Haunted Star. She was set to have another heart transplant but she didn't want to be separated from her cousin's heart which was previously implanted on her. Luckily, her condition improved and there was no need for an operation. Once in Port Charles, she met Jesse Beaudry, a framed up cop who was on the run. They stayed together for a while until he was cleared and he realized he didn't want her anymore. Jesse was later killed in a mob-related shoot-out. His death took a toll on Maxie and she began drinking and partying excessively. She hung out with guys like Nikolas Cassadine and Lucky Spencer, and fed Lucky some pills to get him to do whatever she wanted. She was also the reason why Lucky's marriage to Elizabeth Webber ended. She was so attached to him that she faked a pregnancy and a miscarriage to keep him. However, her lies were exposed and she was named as the "pill pusher." She later met Cooper Barrett while they were caught inside a vault in a hostage taking. The two bonded very well, but later Maxie gets into a secret affair with Cooper's best friend, Logan.
