General Hospital

Previously on General Hospital, Russian mob boss Andre Karpov (Ilia Volok) tempted Sonny (Maurice Benard) to re-enter into the mob business.  Sonny considered the offer with the condition that their dealings will not interfere with his old organization.  Later, Claudia (Sarah Brown), who witnessed Sonny's deal with Karpov, warned him about the Russian mob boss.  Carly (Laura Wright), on the other hand, offered a proposition to Claudia to buy out Jax's shares in Crimson.  Jax (Ingo Rademacher) immediately told Kate (Megan Ward) about Carly's latest plan, while a fed up Kate threatened to sue Jax for breach of contract if he decides to sell.

After Johnny (Brandon Barash) grabs the gun and Lulu (Julie Marie Berman), Johnny and Lulu attempt to get away from the Port Charles Police Department.  While Anthony anticipates Lulu's downfall, Lulu worried that history will repeat itself.  In attempt to calm a frightened Lulu, Johnny makes love to her and later tells her that he loves her.

Meanwhile, Kate effectively makes Carly look bad to the eyes of Jax, who then tells Carly that he's leaving.  Nevertheless, Carly is determined to save her marriage by promising to stand by Jax. Later, however, Carly thinks of yet another scheme as she asks for Spinelli's (Bradford Anderson) help in framing someone for murder.

Sonny meets with Karpov again, leaving Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) suspicious of his involvement with Karpov.  Moreover, Sonny doesn't take the bait when Claudia attempts to blackmail him and refuses to help her in finding Johnny.

As for Scott (Kin Shriner), who returns to Port Charles and finds out about Logan's death, he is out to find Lulu and Johnny's blood.  In line with this, Scott publicly offers a reward for the capture of Lulu and Johnny.


Spoilers for the week of July 14  to July 18

The week kicks off with Maxie confessing everything to Spinelli.  Distressed and flustered, she seeks comfort from Spinelli, who finally gets what he's been dreaming about.  She also tells Jason the whole truth about Logan's murder and warns Johnny that Lulu is about to crack.  Later, Jason gets surprised when he walks in on Spinelli and Maxie.

Meanwhile, Jason and Claudia find themselves in hot water.  Jason promises Lulu that he has everything under control.  Fearing for Lulu's safety, Johnny spring into action and takes the fall for Lulu so he gets arrested for the murder of Logan.

Jax, on the other hand, is fuming over what Carly did to Kate.  Later, however, Jax and Carly come to an agreement.  But this doesn't stop Carly from continuing her revenge plot against Kate, who tries to turn the tables on Carly.
