On yesterday's General Hospital, Anthony plants someone in the jury to ensure that Johnny receivevs a not guilty verdict.  Alexis doesn't want to represent Jax in closing the deal on a new house with Carly because she doesn't want to see him get his heart broken again.  Clarice shows up at Sonny's and tells Diane and Max that she needs to speak with Kate as soon as possible.  Johnny is shocked when he finds out that if he is found guilty, the death penalty can be requested.

Sonny and Kate arrive home from their trip and Clarice says that there is something that she needs to know.  Scott tell the judge that he can prove that Logan was a police officer.  Carly tells Jason that she wishes all the happiness for Kate and Sonny, even though she hates her.

Kate refuses to listen to what Clarice has to say and tells her to go back to work.  Nikolas visits Lulu at Shadybrook, who says that being there has been good for her.  The judges rules that Johnny could be eligible for the death penalty.  During a recess, Ric says that he has enough evidence to get him acquitted but he still could face 5-10 years.  People catch Tracy talking to Alan's ghost in the courtroom.

Alexis goes to Jerry to try to get him to convince Jax not to buy the house with Carly.  Diane refuses to leave Sonny's house, saying that there is business that they need to attend to.  When Lucky visits Lulu, she only cares about finding out how Johnny's trial is going.  Jason brings Spinelli home from the hospital to take care of him after he was hit by a car.  Sonny gets Diane and Max alone and tries to figure out what they're hiding.  He tells them that if they have a problem with Kate, they can submit their resignations.

Lulu panics when Lucky tells her that he could get the death penalty.  Ric begins poking holes in Scott's case, getting one doctor to admit that he couldn't properly identify the murder weapon.  Jerry goes to see Jax, on Alexis's behalf, to convince him not to back to his marriage to Carly.  Maxie decides that she'll be staying with Jason, to make sure that Spinelli gets the best care possible.  Once Kate returns to the office, Clarice tells her that Sonny and Carly had sex back in May.
