Get ready for a General Hospital reunion, the biggest we've seen in a long time!  Night Shift, the spin-off of the ABC Daytime soap that follows the nighttime adventures of familiar and new characters around the Port Charles hospital, will be wrapping up its sophomore season with an overload of some General Hospital's biggest names.

According to TV Guide, the season ender of Night Shift will boast some of General Hospital's ‘80s favorites, including Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and super couple Sean (John Reilly) and Tiffany (Sharon Wyatt).

Warning: This article contains spoilers!!!

The nostalgia-filled General Hospital get-together, which will be presented in two parts, one on October 14 and the final one on October 21, will revolve around Patrick's (Jason Thompson) actions with a patient as it culminates in an explosion that rocks Port Charles.  According to Soaps.com, Robert Scorpio is fighting colon cancer and he'll fall into a chemotherapy-induced coma in the season ender.  As a result, his friends come together to give their support to Robin (Kimberly McCullough).

Before being diagnosed with colon cancer, Robert, for those who are not familiar, was an international spy for the WSB spy agency, and was police commissioner of Port Charles from 1983 through 1985, and then again from 1988 through 1992 when he supposedly perished in an explosion in South America.  When he resigned as police commissioner in 1985, he moved to Australia with his wife Holly to start anew.  After Holly “died,” he married Anna Devane, who was later on kidnapped by Caesar Faison.  Robert left Port Charles for South America to rescue her and turned up alive in Port Charles in 2006 much to the surprise of their daughter, Robin, who is having a difficult time forgiving him for his absence.

Stay tuned for more updates on General Hospital!
