On yesterday’s
General Hospital, Anna encourages Robin to explore how she really feels and push for her relationship with Patrick to work. Claudia tries to pin Michael's shooting on Anthony and Ric to Sonny. Ian threatens to kill Maxie but Jason shoots and kills him first. Before he dies, Jason asks who ordered the hit on Sonny, but Ian dies before giving an answer.
Just when it seemed Emily was gone forever, she reappears to Nikolas while he sits alone at the park. At the police station, Alexis asks Jason what Ian said right before he died. A paranoid Claudia calls Jerry, worried that Ian gave them up to Jason. Carly tells Michael that she will take good care of him while he recovers at home. Jax interrupts her and tells her not to do this.
After reminiscing about their time together, Emily tells him that he has many more years ahead of him and tells him to be happy. She tells him that when he does die, many years from now, when he is old, she’ll be waiting for him. Elizabeth invites Robin and Patrick to Jake’s 1st birthday party. Diane catches Alexis trying to coerce Jason into giving a statement without her. Carly refuses to listen to Jax and prepares Michael to bring him home.
Anthony accuses Claudia of ordering the hit on Sonny. He also knows that she slept with him. Epiphany forbids Nadine from being in the operating room during Nikolas's surgery. Robin apologizes to Patrick on behlf of her mother, for bringing up the marriage issue. After a good lecture from Diane, Alexis begs Jason to tell her who Ian's accomplice is so that she can prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.
Patrick begins Nikolas's surgery while Elizabeth begins Jake's celebration. Johnny shows up unexpectedly at the birthday party to speak to Lulu. At the police station, Mac tells Spinelli that if anything happens to Maxie, he'll break every finger on his hands. Alexis confronts Jerry, asking if he had anything to do with Ian or Michael's shooting. Claudia finds Jason sitting in her house, waiting for her. Johnny thinks better of meeting up with Lulu and heads home. Patrick shows up at Jake's party, delighting Robin. Carly finds Morgan sitting next to Michael's bed, begging him to wake up.
