Another
General Hospital cast member will soon be leaving Port Charles.
Josh Duhon, who is best known as Logan Hayes on the long-running soap, is set to exit the daytime drama this summer. As of this moment, there is no word yet on how his character will disappear from the canvas, although according to
Soap Opera Digest, his departure will be very dramatic.
Duhon joined
General Hospital in March 2007 as Lulu Spencer's eventual love interest. As an ex-army buddy of Coop Barrett from Hollingsbeck, Texas, he and Cooper became involved in a plan hatched by Maxie Jones (
Kirsten Storms) to blackmail Scott Baldwin (
Kin Shriner). Although he was initially attracted to Maxie, in due course, he started to develop feelings for Lulu, which eventually led to a forbidden relationship.
Prior to landing a role on
General Hospital, Duhon was cast to appear on a recurring capacity on the soap
Passions. His other credits include a guest stint on
Criminal Minds and a role in the film
Boxboarders.
As Duhon makes his way out, however, another fan favorite will be checking in on
General Hospital. As reported previously, Jason Cook, who played Shawn on
Days of Our Lives, will be gracing Port Charles this week supposedly. However, Cook's first air date has been pushed back to sometime in late June.
After his stint on
Days of Our Lives, Cook has turned his attentions to writing and directing films, recently making the indie film
Social Security Guard, starring his former
Days of Our Lives co-star
John Ingle. Cook's other acting credits include the film
The Wizard of Loneliness, Disney's P
roject Time and the TV movie
Club Med.
