On yesterday's General Hospital, Ric visits Kate, who tells him that she may love his brother, but is not willing to die for him.  Tracy tries to bribe Claudia to stay away from Luke but he overhears their conversation.  Lulu visits Carly at the hospital but to make sure that she doesn't blame Johnny for Michael's shooting, not to check on how she is really doing.  Patrick finally breaks the news to Carly and Jason that Michael will most likely not wake up.

Sonny visits Kate and tells her that he hasn't seen Michael.  Carly does not believe Patrick that Michael will not wake up.  Nadine stays and spends time with Nikolas after going to the stables with him and Spencer.  Together, they put together a train set for his son.

Kate sends Lulu out on errands, then dismisses her for the day.  Before she leaves, she tries to convince Sonny that Johnny wasn't involved in Michael's shooting and Kate tells her to get out.  Carly tells Patrick that if he doesn't believe in her son, she'll find someone who does.  Diane and Alexis meet for a drink and Alexis pours her heart out about the guilt she feels for having a child with Sonny.  Claudia tells Tracy that she refuses to back off or be bought out.

Mike visits his grandson in the hospital and finds out that Sonny hasn't been there since the night before.  Claudia and Lulu run into each other at the Quartmaine house and Lulu tells her that she plead Johnny's case to Sonny.  Patrick finds Alexis and Diane at the bar and updates them on Michael's health.  As Nadine spends time with Spencer, Nikolas sees Emily watching them and smiling.  Luke lectures Lulu for putting herself in the middle of two rival mob families.  Carly tells Michael about how she's going to take care of him when he wakes up.  Mike tells Sonny not to make the same mistakes he did.  He should go to his son and be by his side and he recovers from being shot, not avoid him.

Upset by seeing Emily in the room, Nikolas asks Nadine to leave.  Patrick drunk dials Robin from the bar to ask her out for some ice cream.  She politely turns him down but asks him what he needs.  He hangs up before she can get an answer.  Sonny finally goes back to the hospital to see his son but Carly is less than thrilled to see Kate with him.  Claudia finds Patrick at the bar and lets her opinions be heard about him having a baby with a woman infected with HIV.  Robin shows up soon after to meet up with him.  Jason visits Monica in rehab to let her know what has happened to Michael.  Carly is outraged when she overhears Sonny admit that he protected Kate from the gunfire, not Michael.
