Rock star
Gene Simmons and his unconventional family return to A&E for an all new season of
Gene Simmons Family Jewels. The much awaited third season is scheduled to kick off on Tuesday, March 11 at 10pm ET/PT, along with back-to-back episodes on the same night.
For those who are not familiar,
Gene Simmons Family Jewels is a reality series that follows the life of KISS co-founder Gene Simmons and his longtime partner
Shannon Tweed, along with their two children,
Nick and
Sophie. Similar to
The Osbournes, the show chronicles their lives with interesting and often comical results.
Your Take

That's great. I was wondering when the show was coming back.
The third season begins with Gene Simmons preparing for the ultimate challenge: A lie detector test to determine if he has been faithful to Shannon Tweed, his "happily unmarried" companion of 24 years and the mother of his two children. Fans will finally know the truth if the 4,800 women Gene claims to have been with all occurred before 1983, the year he and Shannon's relationship began.
Additionally, the new season will include a Gene Simmons Roast in which Gene gets verbally assaulted by friends and today's notable comedians. The season gets even better as it features the first ever KISS concert where the band performs as a trio, Gene and Shannon's official "happily unmarried" honeymoon in Hawaii, Nick and Sophie abroad in Mexico, and some behind the scenes with Gene on NBC's
The Apprentice before he was fired by
Donald Trump, just to name a few.
A&E renewed
Gene Simmons Family Jewels for a third season last summer, and also increased its order from 20 to 24 half-hour episodes. The show is the second highest rated show on the network, only behind
Dog the Bounty Hunter.
Meanwhile, fans can also catch the first and second seasons of
Gene Simmons Family Jewels on DVD.
