Gene Simmons Family Jewels, has written a book called
Ladies of the Night: A Historical and Personal Perspective on the Oldest Profession in the World, which is described as a surprisingly classy examination of prostitution. Fans can finally grab a copy of this much awaited book as Gene Simmons launches his new masterpiece at two book signing events.
Ladies of the Night is an entertaining mix of narrative history combined with Gene Simmons' own philosophy about the legacy of prostitution. The book is also described as an entirely new take on a traditionally taboo topic and promises to spark debate.
July 8 marks the release date of
Ladies of the Night in bookstores and also serves as the date of the
Family Jewels star' book signing event. At 7pm at Borders Books in Westwood Blvd., Westwood, California, Gene Simmons will be spending his time with his supporters as he greets them and signs their copies of his latest release.
Additionally, Gene Simmons will be hopping to New York on July 11 as he meets his fans for yet another book signing event. The
Family Jewels star will be at Barnes & Noble, which is located at 555 Fifth Avenue New York, at 12:30pm to give his supporters a chance to meet and greet the
New York Times best-selling author.
Ladies of the Night isn't Gene Simmons' first release. In fact, he has already successfully published books like
Kiss and Make-Up and
Sex, Money, Kiss. Moreover, he has also launched a men's lifestyle magazine called
Gene Simmons' Tongue.
Meanwhile, Gene Simmons and the rest of his family are preparing for the new season of
Gene Simmons Family Jewels, which will begin production by August.
