Gene Simmons is as busy as ever.  Apart from promoting his new book Ladies of the Night: A Historical and Personal Perspective on the Oldest Profession in the World, the 58-year-old rock star has also divided his attention to his reality series Gene Simmons Family Jewels, as well as to his duties as bassist and vocalist to the band Kiss.

In fact, the Family Jewels star will soon be touring the country as part of their Kiss Alive/35 World Tour. Last month, the band headlined the Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel, Belgium, marking the end of the European leg of the Alive 35 tour.  Next month, Kiss will be embarking on yet another series of concerts across the United States.

"This tour just keeps getting bigger and the band has never been better,” the band said in a statement.  “Until we sort out the next leg, we don't want to stop, so we're doing a few U.S. shows for our enjoyment, as much as the fans.  We are having the time of our lives on the Alive 35 tour and over half a million Kiss fans obviously share the feeling!  Why stop?"

On August 4, Kiss will headline at Glencoe Nation's Rock'n the Rally in an event destined to become “the night that rocked Sturgis,” South Dakota.  The concert will be held at the Glencoe Amphitheater, the largest outdoor music venue in the nation with a capacity of 100,000.

After that, Kiss will be hopping to Las Vegas, Nevada on August 29 at the Palms Casino Resort for one night only at The Pearl Concert Theater.  Then, the band is off to Lake Tahoe, Nevada on August 30 as they are set to perform at the Harveys Outdoor Arena.  Kiss concludes the month with an under the stars concert in Kelseyville, California on August 31.

Meanwhile, fans can also catch Gene Simmons and the rest of his family on Gene Simmons Family Jewels on A&E.
