The King Beyond the Wall finally has a face. According to EW, Game of Thrones has cast Ciaran Hinds as Mance Rayder, the leader of the Wildling army.

Rayder was mentioned frequently throughout the second season of Game of Thrones as Jon Snow was captured by the Wildlings and was brought to Rayder's camp to serve with him.

Hinds is currently playing womanizing former president Bud Hammond on USA's Political Animals. He is also known for another HBO series, Rome, where he played Julius Caesar.

Hinds joins the very large new cast of Game of Thrones season 3, a list that also includes Diana Rigg.

Game of Thrones season 3 will premiere March 31, 2012 on HBO.
