The last ever Fringe Friday is upon us. At least the show is going out with a super-sized two hour series finale titled "Liberty" and "An Enemy of Fate." Will the world be saved from the Observers? Now that the Observers have taken Michael, the team will have to adjust their plan. Will will the team have to sacrifice in order to save the world?

Fringe is available on Amazon Prime.

Spoiler alert: This preview contains Fringe spoilers. If you want to remain spoiler-free for the finale, don't watch the video.

After last week's episode, FOX aired the below preview and while it provides many questions, it gives many hints about what's to come. Plus, two characters will make a surprising return!

Fringe Series Finale Trailer

Lincoln and Fauxlivia / Bolivia / Over There Olivia show up! Exciting reveal.

Here are some of the other highlights from the finale preview:

  • "I know this is what I'm supposed to do." -- Walter sounding ominous to Peter.
  • What the heck is Walter doing to Olivia? Painful! I'm sure it is necessary for their plan, but ouch.
  • Did Olivia go to the Alternate Universe? Fringe Division Department of Defense, perhaps?
  • "I need your help." -- Olivia
  • In what year are they? Neither Lincoln nor Fauxlivia look to have aged much at all.
  • Windmark isn't looking well. Is Michael changing him?
  • Poor Michael. He's a science project. Will they hurt him?
  • The battle!
  • "Fate can't be changed." -- Donald
  • It's Michael. Did he get away from the Observers?
  • "I love you forever." -- Peter
Wow. I've watched that trailer over and over again in anticipation of Friday night's epic conclusion of Fringe. It will be sad to say goodbye to these characters we've grown to love over the last five years.

The Fringe finale airs Friday, January 18 at 8 pm ET on FOX.
