You can't stop the signal and you can't stop the awesomeness. Not at the 2012 San Diego Comic-Con anyway. That's because Firefly, Joss Whedon's cult sci-fi show will be on hand for a panel celebrating the 10th anniversary of the series. Keep reading for all of the details!

Fringe is available on Amazon Prime.

Rumors leaked of the panel earlier, as we reported here, but there was little confirmation and absolutely zero information on the participants, time or place. Now that information has come. And it's amazing.

What?
The Firefly presentation at SDCC will consist of a discussion with the producers and stars of the show, along with never-before-seen footage. Science Channel, which is promoting the panel, says that the one-hour presentation will include some "buzz-worthy surprises."

There's nothing wrong with that.

Who?
So which Firefly people can we expect to show up for the panel? Currently slated to appear are Firefly stars Nathan Fillion, Adam Baldwin, Alan Tudyk, Sean Maher and Michael Fairman (In case you don't remember, Fairman played Adelai Niska, the sadistic crime lord who cut off Mal's ear.). The actors will be joined by Firefly producers Joss Whedon and Tim Minear.

When?
Expect to see a lot of Browncoats in line on Friday, July 13. That's when Firefly will take over Ballroom 20 for a one-hour panel at 12:30pm. Just don't expect to get in right beforehand -- Firefly fans are a dedicated (and numerous) lot.

While there have been Firefly-related panels at many Comic-Cons over the past several years, this panel promises to be one of the biggest. Hey, if nothing else, how could you pass up a chance to see Nathan Fillion and Joss Whedon in the same room?
