Stardom came to Lisa Kudrow
when she became part of the sitcom Friends

Although she already starred on television shows and worked in a number of movies prior to her participation on the award-winning series, she attracted much attention as the longhaired blonde performer named Phoebe Buffay. Portraying the ditzy and flaky character earned her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series in 1998, a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series in 2000 and more than ten nominations from various award-giving bodies.
