Gaius Charles studied at Carnegie Mellon. He acquired his B.F.A. in drama and graduated as magna cum laude. During his school days, he worked on several theater productions like Spunk, Candide and The Wild Party. Moreover, he starred in The Clink with the National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Sydney, Australia. Aside from acting, he also wants to pursue aviation and would like to become a private pilot in the future. At present, he is part of the television series Friday Night Lights where he plays Brian "Smash" Williams.
Brian Williams, also known as Smash, is the running back of the Dillon Panthers. Aside from being the most skillful member of the team, he is also the most likely to excel in college. His anxiety to succeed leads him to take severe measures.
